Holiday Organization

Scope of Work


At The Reset Room, we help clients prepare for the holidays by transforming homes into organized, functional, and beautifully styled spaces. Our holiday organization services focus on decluttering, creating efficient systems, and optimizing storage for decorations, entertaining supplies, and seasonal items, ensuring a seamless and stress-free holiday experience.


Service Overview


This service includes a full assessment, decluttering, categorization, and implementation of organization systems for holiday decorations, entertaining items, and seasonal storage. Optional services include installation of holiday décor and labeling for easy access and maintenance.


Phase 1: Consultation & Planning


  • Assess current holiday storage and décor inventory
  • Identify clutter, redundant items, and storage inefficiencies
  • Discuss client holiday traditions, entertaining needs, and storage preferences
  • Develop a customized organization and storage strategy
  • Plan zones for seasonal décor, entertaining supplies, and gift wrapping


Phase 2: Decluttering & Sorting


  • Remove all holiday décor, seasonal items, and related supplies from storage
  • Sort items into categories:
     
    • Indoor décor (tree ornaments, tabletop decorations, lighting)
    • Outdoor décor (lights, wreaths, inflatables)
    • Gift wrapping supplies (paper, ribbons, tags)
    • Entertaining items (serve ware, linens, holiday dishes)


  • Identify items to keep, donate, discard, or replace
  • Prepare donation items for removal if requested


Phase 3: Storage System Implementation


  • Organize items into clearly labeled containers and storage zones
  • Utilize client-selected storage solutions including bins, shelving, and racks
  • Optimize accessibility for frequently used décor or entertaining supplies
  • Provide seasonal rotation tips to make next year’s setup effortless


Phase 4: Optional Holiday Decor Setup


  • Assist with placement of holiday decorations in selected areas (interior and exterior)
  • Ensure décor is displayed safely and aesthetically
  • Style tabletop, mantel, and entryway décor for a polished, luxury look
  • Provide guidance for maintenance during the holiday season


Phase 5: Final Walkthrough & Maintenance Guidance


  • Review organized storage systems and décor placement with the client
  • Provide tips for maintaining order during the busy holiday season
  • Offer optional follow-up visits to reset and declutter post-holidays

  • 3 hour minumum
  • We will shop organizational products for you at no additional hourly cost. The cost of organizational products beyond printed labels will be billed to the client
